Indonesian Side Dish
Hi, Hello, Annyeong...
Glad to see you!!
Are you worried? In a dilemma between 2 or more choices, it's really hard, there is no choice that is completely correct, everything has consequences, it's just a matter of how you deal with the consequences of the choices you choose. Keep your spirits up :)
Okay, this time I will discuss about Indonesian food!!! Yey >○< . Indonesia is not only the largest archipelagic country with diverse ethnic groups, customs, cultures and various natural conditions. This of course also affects traditional Indonesian food which is very diverse and apparently although in some areas you can find foods that are similar to food in other areas, there are still quite striking differences from each of these foods. In addition, many Indonesian foods are influenced or inspired by the culture of other countries, such as meatballs and noodles which are original Chinese foods and were brought to Indonesia during trade.
This time the Indonesian food that I want to discuss is a side dish consisting of 3 kinds, namely salty martabak, sweet martabak and crepe or leker. But crepe or leker is not made so I will only discuss 2 only.
1. Salty Martabak
Starting from a young man from Lebaksiu Tegal, Central Java named Ahmad bin Abdul Karim who traveled to the big city, Semarang to trade in 1930. Then he met an Indian citizen named Abdullah bin Hasan al-Malibary who was good at cooking and became a friend. he is good at making a dish made from flour called martabak, because he lives in Indonesia so he makes Martabak which is more adapted to the tongue of Javanese people who like to eat vegetables, namely martabak which contains vegetables mixed with other ingredients. events outside the city such as night markets, as well as sekatenan events in Yogyakarta and dugderan in Semarang. And now egg martabak is very popular in Indonesia and has spread everywhere.
2. Sweet Martabak
Martabak Manis or originally named Hok Lo Pan was originally a food that gained popularity in the city of Bandung where it was first introduced in 1950 by a nomad named Hioe Kiew Sem from the Jebus area, Bangka Island. Almost everyone in big cities like Jakarta knows Martabak Bangka, his real name in Bangka is Hok Lo Pan. The literal meaning of Hok Lo Pan is Lucky Cake or Hockey Cake. Sweet martabak is a type of pancake in the form of a sweet-tasting wheat flour dough baked, topped with green tea, Nutella, Silver Queen, and others. Then folded.
Just this , guys, I hope it's useful, thank you for your time and see you again. Annyeong..
