Thailand Side Dish (Eng)

Now I will tell you about Thailand side dish that I make after Korean side dish.

We certainly familiar with the Thai country which is one of the neighboring countries of Indonesia, located in Southeast Asia and incorporated in ASEAN. There is one interesting fact about the country of Thailand that is the only country in Southeast Asia never in the elephant. In addition, Thailand is also famous for its drama and film, Mimin itself does not like drama and Thai film.

Thai food is also many in the Libuery of the outside society, the most famous is Tom Yam but Thailand also has many kinds of food to be on the try.

So now I will tell you 3 of them

1. Sweet Cassava

It is one of the sweet food from Thailand which are compared to the food in Indonesia which is similar to kolak but with cassava or singkong in Indonesia language.

These are made from cassava, which is boiled with sugar water to make the cassava shine. After that, it was doused with the sweet coconut sauce. This food is good for Indonesian people who want to try Thai food with Indonesian flavor.


2. Khanom Khrok
Khanom khrok is a traditional coconut cake of Thai cuisine. Made of wheat flour and coconut milk, cooked on a special semicircular pan. The cake is unique in that it is served with scallions and some chives depending on the creators, giving the flavor a little different. This food is easy to find in the markets around Bangkok. It's best to eat it while it's still warm.

This food is similar to surabi in Indonesia. The sweet and paltry combination of flavor makes the tourists who come to Thailand addicted to Khanom Khrok



3. Fresh Spring Roll

The food comes originally from the Chinese country, where Chinese traders are taken to various countries and then adapted to the local merchandising communities.

For example Spring Roll from Thailand that stuffed and wrapping has experienced various adjustments either in terms of stuffing and wrapping.

Fresh spring roll is made of various vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, crab sticks, lettuce and basil wrapped in a rice papper. Specialized for carrots in blanch first.


It's served with sauce made from butter, bombai, curry paste, coconut milk, water, sugar, fish sauce, lemon juice and a little salt.
